ABOMINATIONS unto GOD

 

1 Corinthians 15:39

King James Version

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: 

but there is one kind of flesh of men, 

another flesh of beasts, 

another of fishes, 

and another of birds.

We've come to know GOD's TRUTH.

We've also come to know life GOD created.

Now, we turn to His laws about such.

After all, the LORD laid the foundation for everything.

Who are we to defy Him?

Exodus 20:1-6

King James Version

20 And God spake all these words, 

saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, 

which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, 

out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, 

or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, 

or that is in the earth beneath, 

or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, 

nor serve them: 

for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, 

visiting the iniquity of the fathers 

upon the children unto the third and fourth generation 

of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy 

unto thousands of them that love me, 

and keep my commandments.

Leviticus 18:22

King James Version

22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, 

as with womankind: 

it is abomination.

Leviticus 19:19

King James Version

19 Ye shall keep my statutes. 

Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: 

thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: 

neither shall a garment mingled 

of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Deuteronomy 22:9-11

King James Version

9 Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: 

lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, 

and the fruit of thy vineyard, 

be defiled.

10 Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, 

as of woollen and linen together.

1 Corinthians 15:36-38

King James Version

36 Thou fool, 

that which thou sowest is not quickened, 

except it die:

37 And that which thou sowest, 

thou sowest not that body that shall be, 

but bare grain, 

it may chance of wheat, 

or of some other grain:

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, 

and to every seed his own body.

We all need to pay attention to GOD's laws.

We need to honor the LORD.

In everything we think, say, and do.

If we love Him, we obey His commandments.

JESUS reminded us of that.

John 14:15

King James Version

15 If ye love me, 

keep my commandments.

Now, that we know GOD's creation, and commands, it's time to see how man has conducted himself.
